London and the Southeast represent approximately 70% of the UK lift market and over the past couple of years our London office has become our largest operation.
Therefore, in addition to the appointment of a new London Projects Director, Ben Wright our London Regional Director will be focusing extensively on Service operations to ensure the correct level of service delivery and grow the business.
As a result of Shaun Brown’s new position, Dane Batty becomes Regional Director for Sheffield and Stevie Walters takes on the role of Service Manager, Sheffield all with effect from 1st January 2022.
Also, from the same date, Mike Barton will act as Interim Regional Director for The Midlands Region in addition to his Northwest duties.
The Midlands office enjoys continued success as a service operation under the management of Sally Merrigan, however, with a city the size of Birmingham in its midst we believe The Midlands Region has untapped potential to increase our new lift and major modernisation work in the area so watch this space……
One other confirmed organisational change is the retirement of Ray Bealey from his position as Sales Director. Ray’s approaching 50 years in the lift industry and plans to begin his well-earned retirement from April 2022. We are sure everyone will join us in wishing him well and Ray will be missed as a colleague but remain as a friend.
A newcomer to Classic Lifts but also a long-standing lift industry professional, Craig Wishart will begin as Regional Sales Manager early in 2022 and will work alongside Ray until his well-deserved retirement.
