An End of Year Message from our Managing Director, Kerry Sheehan

As we come to the end of the year, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone across our Lifts and Entrances businesses for the commitment, professionalism and hard work shown throughout the year.

Over the past seven months since I joined Andwis, I have spent time across our sites, offices and projects, meeting colleagues from different brands, disciplines and regions. What has stood out consistently is the depth of technical expertise, the pride people take in their work, and the quiet determination to do the right thing for customers and for each other. Whether on site, in service, projects, engineering, commercial, finance or support roles, the results we deliver are built on that effort, and they do not happen by accident.

This year has also been about bringing together strong businesses to form a more connected Lifts and Entrances division within Andwis. We are building a national platform that allows us to support larger and more complex customers, invest with confidence, and offer a broader and more resilient service. At the same time, we are deliberately retaining what has made each of our businesses successful: local knowledge, specialist expertise, entrepreneurial thinking and accountability for delivery. That balance matters. Scale alone does not create quality, people do.

Across the wider business, we are already seeing the benefits of this approach. Customers are recognising the strength of our combined footprint, the consistency of our technical delivery and the responsiveness of our teams. Positive feedback continues to come through on service quality, problem-solving, and the professionalism of our engineers and project teams. These are not slogans, they are outcomes driven by people doing their jobs well, often in challenging environments and under pressure.

I am confident about the journey ahead for Lifts and Entrances within Andwis. Our focus on customer service continues to differentiate us in a competitive market. Our technical capability, built up over many years across our brands, makes us a trusted partner rather than just a supplier. As we continue to align systems, processes and ways of working, our aim is simple: to make it easier for you to do a great job and to build a business we can all be proud to work in.

Alongside this, we are also focused on making Andwis a better place to work. In the New Year, we will be rolling out an Employee Assistance Programme across the division. This will provide access to wellbeing support, mental health resources and a range of practical benefits, including online discounts. This forms part of our broader commitment to supporting our people, recognising that a strong business depends on healthy, supported and engaged teams.

All of this comes together in our Divisional Vision:

to be the UK’s most respected Lifts and Entrances services business, combining national capability with local ownership. We aim to deliver safe, sustainable and compliant access solutions that create long-term value for our clients, our people and our shareholders.

I am also very conscious that while many will be looking forward to a well earned break over Christmas, not everyone gets that opportunity. Our industry does not stop. Keeping customers safe, compliant and operational requires cover, commitment and flexibility, often at times when others are with family and friends. For those working over the festive period, please know that your contribution is recognised and genuinely appreciated. You enable others to step away, and you uphold the standards our businesses are known for.

Finally, I would like to thank you for the resilience and professionalism shown during a year that has involved change, growth and integration alongside the day-to-day demands of delivery. Business is very much a team effort, and every role plays a part in our success. I am proud to work alongside you and optimistic about what we will continue to build together in the year ahead.

Wishing you and your families a peaceful Christmas and a healthy, successful New Year.
