Another busy and successful year for the Classic Lifts training department:

6 Engineers completed a 4 Day MP Technical Training course in Wieringerwerf, Holland. This included advanced setup and fault finding procedures for Microprocessor Control systems and Variable Frequency Drives.

Classic Lifts Ltd has invested a great deal of time and money in NVQ’s.

Two fully qualified internal NVQ Assessors have worked alongside West Nott’s College to ensure all engineers are either NVQ qualified to the appropriate level or are working towards an NVQ.

Notable successes this year are 6 Engineers qualified to NVQ level 3 and 3 Engineers to NVQ level 4.

The Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) Distance learning continues to be an excellent source of training for our engineers. 2013 has been another fruitful year with an ever growing number of passes.

All Engineers and managers have attended Safe Working at Heights and Asbestos Awareness training courses as well as attending yearly refreshers to ensure we are prepared for every occurrence.
