Following Classic Lifts Limited London office expansion we have made numerous additions to our team in the Sidcup office covering London and the South East, over the last few months. New Regional Director, Ben Wright was appointed to lead the London area and manage the Sidcup branch and brings over 25 years-experience in lifts after beginning his career as an apprentice in the industry. Ben has a busy home life with two children yet still manages to find time for his passion; gigging as a drummer.
Supporting Ben across the south is our new Service Manager, Gareth Davies another very experienced ‘lift man’ with over 15 years in the industry. Gareth is a very well organised individual who has adapted to Classic Lifts procedures and systems very quickly.
We are also fortunate enough to have secured the services of Paul Mitchell, a well-respected Support Technician within the lift industry and Graham O’Neil who adds experience to the minor works repair team. Graham first started work in the lift industry back in 2002 and has gained experience in all aspects of the service department.
Furthermore, with the number of new lift installations we had on the books for London, we have welcomed Graham Connolly, a qualified Lift Engineer and an experienced Contract Manager. This will enable us to reduce the amount of travel time and therefore increase response times for our repair works across London.
As our portfolio grows and develops nationally, as well as in London and the South we have made a number of appointments across our offices:
Yorkshire regional appointments
At the beginning of the year Ashley Meredith joined as a Lift Engineer Improver to work alongside Gareth Hunter. Ashok Lad also joined us as a Fitters Mate, working alongside his brother, Kiren who has been with Classic for a number of years. A recent addition to the Head Office region service team is Andrew Westmoreland, an experienced service engineer.
We were also pleased to welcome Donna Morris to the credit control team in February, returning to work after the birth of her son Riley.
Midlands regional appointments
Andrew Bennett joined us back in October 2015, as the Service Manager for our Midlands office and so is already actively growing our service portfolio across the Midlands. Following our appointment for the service contract at Warwick University, along with it came the employment of Leigh Arculus as a Service Engineer. With the increased work load in the Midlands additional admin staff were needed and a helping hand has been provided by Louise Hart who though new to the industry brings with her extensive administrative experience.
North West regional appointments
The newest addition to the well-established service team in Haydock is Martin Rollinson, an experienced service engineer.
The Classic Lifts family is growing
We were pleased to welcome the return of both Lisa Archer to the London team and Lauren Armstrong at our Haydock branch after maternity leave.
As you can see from above, Classic Lifts has a policy of continued expansion and growth and as a result we always welcome enquiries from people with the right ability and attitude and particularly if you are a suitably qualified or experienced Lift Engineer.
We have immediate vacancies nationally for suitable service / call-out / repair engineers to work alongside our existing team. Anyone interested in this position please contact Andy Emsley on firstname.lastname@example.org.
